Why you should take this course: If you love science, you will find neuroscience both fascinating and fun! Neuroscience is the study of how the nervous system works. Studying the nervous system and its functions can help scientists find ways to prevent or treat diseases that affect the human body. This course will help improve your understanding of human biology and how the body works. Education in neuroscience can also help provide for exceptional medical careers as the field is both challenging and rewarding. I taught a neuroscience class last year and I hope to help others develop interest in this subject. The class will have many engaging hands-on activities and prove to be entertaining and a simplified version of neuroscience.
